About Me

My photo
"Teaching English and Villager Empowerment" We all can do something for others. Teachers too, can do a lot more than teaching in class, and helping people in the country is one among many. With this idea in mind, I have been spending my free time teaching kids in a village for free. Now, I am trying to change my small property to be a site for education; I have invited some of my friends, students and a few native speakers of English to meet with children. Sometimes, I talk to the parents and other villagers and discuss what we can do more. I believe that we all can contribute something for others, at least working together makes us become friends and learn from one another. Therefore, if you share similar ideas, don’t hesitate to contact me at meteekns79@gmail.com or post your comments in this Blog. Please don’t hesitate to do something if you can because your little help may be huge for less privileged children.

At Suan Mor - Baan Lau

On the very first day of the year, 1 January, 2010, I and my family went to Baan Lau Suer Gok to meet up with the children, give them ice-cream and celebrate a New Year party with them. After making merit at the temple as to welcome a new year's arrival, I headed off to Suan Mor-Lau Suer Gok to start this happy time. Since in the morning, one by one, the kids came and some brought their secret
boxes with smiles and hopes to share their own with other friends (an unplanned activity).

Noo-Na, a 5 year old girl, and her friends created someHNY cards wishing everyone a very happy new year 2010.

Enjoy your ice-cream

Not only creating HNY cards or enjoying ice-cream, but also meeting up with their Kun Lung Micheal was their exciting moment. Their kind Micheal tuaght them some English and did not forget to bring the kids smiles, knowledge and his British accent lesson.

Kun Lung Micheal, with an Isaan Pah Kao Ma around his wraist, was teaching kids some English.

All activities came to a very impressive end. The children all together said 'Thank you very much' to their kind and supportive people. A big thank shall go to my MA students who contributed some presents for the kids. They had a very good time.

Doing what you love is freedom
Love what you are doing is happiness
